You will probably not get any responses to your request in English. Anyone who used to live in Pripyat or other towns/villages in the Zone speak Russian and/or Ukrainian. Very few of them speak English.
In the English forum, I specifically suggested posting your request in this section in Russian
because I know most people who visit this area do not speak English and probably will not take time to use an online translator.
I must also ask, are you going to have an interpreter to translate for you during the interviews and excursion? If not, then you will have difficulties communicating with any former residents who are willing to be interviewed.
Keep in mind that you want to speak with people whose native language is Russian or Ukrainian. I think you will find people more receptive to your invitation if you
make the effort to communicate in their language.
You may also want to use an online translator to "reverse" translate your Russian or Ukrainian back to English. It is an extra effort, but you will find many times that you have to re-word your English so that it translates better. Google's translation site is pretty good and can do Russian and Ukrainian - http://translate.google.com/translate_t#
